Terms and Condition

  1. This promotional competition is open to the public. Minors must be assisted by a parent/legal guardian.
  2. This promotional competition is organised by T3 Telecoms (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number: 2012/226410/07) (“T3T”) (“the Promoter”).
  3. In these rules, “Promoter” means a person who directly or indirectly promotes, sponsors, organises or conducts the promotional competition, or for whose benefit the promotional competition is promoted, sponsored, organised or conducted, which includes T3T and MTN. No director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to the Promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates, may enter this promotional competition. This also applies to a person who is a supplier of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition.
  4. The competition will be run by T3T via their agents as follows:
    1. Subscribers who buy an MTN Starter Pack for any value amount from a T3T agent between 1st Dec 2019 and 31st Dec 2019 stand a chance to win one of 3 x Huawei Y7 Smart Phones valued at R3000 each or one of 8 x 1gig data bundles valued at R149 each.
    2. Subscribers simply SMS their Name and Cellular number to the enter the weekly draw.
    3. Each week x2 winners across all active starter packs will be drawn from SMS entries and contacted telephonically.
    4. Winners will have the data bundle sent directly to their phone.
    5. Winners will have 30 days to redeem their prize from the day they have been notified. If the winner fails to load the data within the 30 days’ timeframe, he/she will forfeit their prize.
    6. The grand prize of 3 x Huawei Y7 Smart Phones valued at R3000 each
    7. Grand prize winners will need to submit a copy of their ID or passport in order to receive their winnings.
    8. Underage entrants will require parental consent and permission from bill payer to enter into the competition. Non-compliance will result in immediate disqualification.
    9. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    10. No substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted.
    11. By entering this competition you authorize the promoter, to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes.
    12. Underage entrants will require parental consent and permission from bill payer to enter into the competition. Non-compliance will result in immediate disqualification.
    13. By entering the competition you, the participant, agree and understand that you may win a prize but that there is no guarantee that you will win a prize.
    14. The prize is not transferable, may not be deferred or exchanged for cash.
    15. At the end of the campaign the weekly winners will be entered into a final draw to stand a chance to win the Grand Prize;
    16. The final draw will be conducted the third week of Jan 2020.
  5. The winner/s or participants may be required to take part in publicity campaigns for broadcast or publishing purposes. Winners or participants shall at all times be entitled to decline the above request. Winners or participants that take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the promoter.
  6. The Promoter will not be liable for the failure of any technical element relating to this competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  7. Entries that are unclear, illegible or contain errors will be declared invalid.
  8. By accepting a prize or by entering this competition, you hereby indemnify T3T, its directors, agents, employees and the promoters / sponsors against any damages of any nature whatsoever that anyone may suffer as a result of the prize/s and/or this competition, including consequential damages and economic loss.
  9. Failure to comply with these rules or the terms of acceptance of a prize by a winner will be deemed to be a rejection of the prize and the winner will then be disqualified from receiving the prize.
  10. The Promoter, its associated companies, agents, contractors and any of its personnel involved in this competition, assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage, death or injury arising from participation in the competition or from using the prize or for any loss or damage, death or injury howsoever arising.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to summarily cancel this competition in the event of an adverse occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
